Where our money goes:
Our organization is made up of volunteers. No salaries are paid, just a lot of thank you's and pats on the back. We control our costs closely and most of our services are donated by our volunteers. Our legal counsel and accounting services are donated by Joyce Baker-Selesky with Donaldson Guin, LLC and Curt Stokes with Warren Averett Accounting. All copies and office services are donated by Surin Restaurant Group. This website was constructed and donated by Jay Brandrup of Kinetic Communications.
This year all money donated will be given to University of Alabama Gyn/Oncology Group headed by Dr. Ronnie Alvarez. This is an incredible group that is aggressively involved in early detection and prevention of Ovarian Cancer. The foundation will also support a SPORE grant that is currently being applied for through the UAB.
